The Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code 2017 sets out the minimum competency requirements for recognised qualifications. The code tells us that a minimum of 15 hours CPD must be completed by qualified persons and grandfathered persons each year.
O’Mahony Training has been providing live face to face and online CPD for over 10 years and I have delivered to Insurance Institute members nationwide as well as many others. In April 2020, Brendan presented both of the Insurance and Torts – Let’s simplify CPDs on behalf of the Insurance Institute of Ireland to almost 1,000 members. We currently have more than 45 approved CPD courses ready for delivery. A list of these courses is set out below and all are for 1 hour duration (unless otherwise stated).
I regularly deliver to brokers, insurers, loss assessors, MGAs and other professions within the insurance sector. Arrangements can be put in place to deliver early morning, lunchtime or at other times to suit the business need. Some attendees participate as part of a company group and others attend individually in regular group sessions.
The content of courses can be adapted to suit particular needs such as dedicated wordings for particular products eg your ‘white-labelled home insurance product, dedicated motor or package policy wordings. I also specialise in developing bespoke CPD presentations to meet your needs.
